FAQs on Flexcare

What is FlexCare?

FlexCare is the new name for Mopar Vehicle Protection. It launched in January 2025 and offers the same trusted coverage. Now the name matches your vehicle, like Jeep FlexCare or Ram FlexCare.

Why did the name change?

Stellantis made the change to simplify and align coverage with each vehicle brand.

What are the new plan names?

  • Maximum Care is now Extended Care Premium
  • Added Care Plus is now Extended Care Plus
  • Powertrain Care Plus is now Extended Care

Is the coverage still the same?

Yes. Whether your plan says Mopar or FlexCare, the benefits and service remain unchanged.

Can I use my plan at any dealership?

Yes. All Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram dealers in the US, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Guam accept FlexCare plans.

Do I have to pay a deductible?

That depends on the plan you chose. If you picked a $0 deductible, you pay nothing for covered repairs. If you chose a $100 or $200 deductible, you’ll pay that amount per repair visit.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes. We offer 0 percent financing for up to 30 months on most FlexCare plans. Everyone qualifies.

Does FlexCare overlap with my factory warranty?

No. FlexCare starts when your factory warranty ends. It also adds extras like roadside assistance and $1,000 in trip interruption coverage.

How are claims handled?

The dealership handles it for you. They submit the claim directly to Stellantis, so there’s nothing you need to do.

Where can I get repairs?

Go to the dealer where you bought the car, or any Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram dealer. They’ll handle the repairs using genuine Mopar parts.

Do I get a rental car if my vehicle is in the shop?

Yes, most plans include up to $35 per day for 5 days per repair visit. There’s no limit on how many times you can use it.

How much does a FlexCare plan cost?

Pricing depends on your vehicle, mileage, coverage level, and deductible. You can request a quote online or by phone.

What do I need to do to stay covered?

Follow your vehicle’s maintenance schedule and keep all service records. That’s it.

What does roadside assistance include?

You get help with jump-starts, flat tires, lockouts, fuel delivery, and towing. Call 1-800-521-2779 if you need it. Most FlexCare plans include this service.

What’s covered under each plan?

Each plan has different levels of coverage.

How long does coverage last?

Plans are available up to 7 years or 100,000 miles. Coverage always starts from the vehicle’s original in-service date and mileage.

Which vehicles are eligible?

All Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles qualify. Many competitive makes do too. We can check for you.

Who backs FlexCare?

FlexCare is backed by Stellantis, the company that built your vehicle. That means your protection comes straight from the source.
